Prioritising self-care is challenging all year round however once December begins normality goes out the window and the silly season begins. Christmas- the most wonderful time of the year also brings lots of outside stresses forcing all of us to reprioritise our well being and focus on our ever-growing festive season schedules. Here are my top tips to keep you on track this December.

KEEP TO YOUR EXERCISE REGIME

Keeping up your normal workout routine will be difficult some days, but it is your most important strategy for staying healthy, calm, and happy in the face of all the excess. 

A HEALTHY OUTSIDE STARTS FROM THE INSIDE

Do your best to get in at least 3-4 servings of veggies daily. They’ll help to mitigate some of your more indulgent moments.

SCHEDULE DAILY TIME OUTS

I know December equals time poor, however, take some time just for you. No screens, no electronics. Just relax, take a short nap, meditate, or read a book whatever makes you happy.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

I believe our bodies are extremely intuitive. It knows when we need to have an early night, drink more water and schedule a face mask.
